Thanks to Ivy's generous spirit and willingness to put up with me, I had the opportunity to attend (most of) the ALA Annual Conference July 9-13 in Chicago. And for the same reason, I got to argue about the proceedings thereof to the point of annoying the living hell out of fellow passengers on the shuttle bus. That's their loss for not joining in the debate, imho.

Elbarak knew something was up when they beamed him down with a rake to finish the crop circle in the daylight. He always worried about being left behind, so when they beamed up the last cow, he made sure to be in the beam too.

 I knew when I was doing it that I shouldn't drop 'bivouac' on the head of Lizanne, whom I love, even though I could get the double letter on the V plus the double word on the whole thing. Not even for the 61 points  should I have done such a thing. But it was just too good.  Games are bad, and so am I.

I would have preferred to bathe/shower in my own tub this morning, but not so much. The youngest helped me wrestle the tub back into the bathroom last evening, and I got the drain back together. Sadly, the shiny new feed tubes I'd bought wouldn't fit. OK, off to the Y in the morning for a pre-work shower. Coulda just showered in the locker room at work except that it was Bike to Work Day, and all the XYs on staff were probably wanting to shower in the same 15 minutes I would (plus the whole being naked at work thing, but that's another entry) .
