The ad on Craigslist called this trailer a teardrop. The photo posted with it made clear that that was not the case, but it's clearly a cozy-sized vintage eminently towable little thing. Cute even, or so it seemed from the ad. So I took an hour's drive past the ruins of mining days casually decaying to see the thing in Central City.

After the long break for the work/fun trip to SF (whee!!) I'm thinking about a more "gathered" less scattered pattern of quarter-circles in my quilt background. I still don't want to just orient them all the same so it's a plain old pattern, but the self-consciously random arrangement had an overly jangly feel for me. So here I'm looking for a calmer but still free-form arrangement. Not sure whether or not I'm there yet.
