I'm thinking this pattern for the quilting on the dragonfly thing would be too damn much work. It's kind of what I want, though. I do like the traditional symbolism of vitality & energy of the ginkgo leaf -- that's something I often feel is lacking, and more of it might very well be a good thing in my life. Plus that's good for a quilt, since good sleep restores energy and so on. I might sketch up a single leaf that I can quilt on each quater moon shape and again in the opposite corner of each square.

Still no clue (or not much) what to do about quilting within the center dragonfly panel.
