I'm pretty happy with the way the bathroom floor is turning out. It ain't remotely perfect, and the grout joints will be uneven here & there. But it's nearly done, and as a bonus it looks good. After I finish my coffee I'm going to run to the store for a couple more sheets of tile -- thought I had exactly what I needed, but I came up a teense short. Then I'll piece in the last bits and decide whether to follow the instructions and not grout until 24 hours -- which would be this evening at the earliest -- or just get on with my bad self and be done. Still prolly can't move the tub back in today, which was the goal, but oh well.

Also note the beadboard wainscotting stripped of 100 years' worth of paint but not yet repainted. Also the pipes that run along the wall boxed in rather than relocated. MUCH more sensible.

Oh, and I surprised myself a little when I was marking the cutout in the subfloor for the sink drain. Well, *I* thought it was funny.

Blargh

Of course I ran out of effing grout. I got 75-80% of it done, but the area in front of the door remains. And of course the Ace Hardware had nothing that would halfway match, so I have to go later to the Home Borg store where I got the first container and get another, smaller one of the same stuff. But the tub area is grouted, so we can get the tub back in place tomorrow evening. Then I'll be able to bathe in my bathroom.

Oh, and I sliced the ball of my foot on a leftover tile shard and had to clean blood off the brand new white tile. Blargh.
