Scar actually volunteered for this. No, it was more like she asked for it. I did NOT do this at work so it was going to be me cleaning up the mess and me paying for the ingredients of the mess so it's not likely I would have done it even though I'd been wanting to. So she didn't "volunteer" for a project I had but she saw some of the previous photos I had shot at work and decided she wanted to be covered in marshmallow fluff. So I went shopping for fluff and along the way picked up a whole grocery cart full of other stuff to cover her in. It was fun and I promise I'll be posting a lot more photos from this little adventure:)

Poor Trixie can't have any fun. Even a nice horse ride turns fatal when she gets tossed off and stomped.www.DeadTrixie.com

Those are Raynn's cute little toes from a set of photos we shot earlier this month for www.NakedGirlsInOurBed.com. I just submitted the set to www.Zivity.com as well. My first set with Tracey P just went live on Zivity so if you happen to be a member stop on by and say hello. My Zivity

I've went days now without doing anything useful. It's fucking depressing how unmotivated I am. I wonder how many times I've written that over the years?
<br />Don't forget to check out the rest of the set at www.NakedGirlsInOurBed.com.

That's Tracey P telling me a secret right after shooting her last set for www.NakedGirlsInOurBed.com. Wanna know what she said? Too bad:)

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty fucked up in a billion ways right now and I might not always act like it, but I'm happy in spite of it all. How could I not be when I wake up to this?

I need some. Things have been going the same exact way for too long and I'm not happy with it. I need to switch things up quite a bit so I can figure out what's causing this . The first and most important thing I'm doing is cutting out the beer for a while. Not cutting back, cutting out. No more beer for at least a month, maybe longer. One reason is that I think I'm probably less likely to get sidetracked when I'm sober. It's still going to be a battle to get motivated to do anything to begin with but I hope that will get better as well. I've also started carrying a small notebook with me so that I can write down these ideas I always seem to forget about by the time I'm ready to get to work on something. We'll see if that actually helps or if I just read over it later and think it was a dumb idea to begin with. I got some other changes in mind as well, but for now that's it. Baby steps ya know. My last drink was on the 4th... I'll let you know in a month if I made it that long without a beer:)That's Raynn up there with the oversized feet. Too bad they aren't really that big. She could make buckets of money with dogs like that!
It's THE Tracey P!

I'm an effin' genius I tell ya! After years and years of doing my level best to keep my Photoshop skills to a bare minimum I finally decided to try out using adjustment layers tonight. Now considering I normally don't use layers period, this was a big jump. I've only scratched the surface and we'll see if I scratch any harder or just continue on my happy way with what I know now. Part of me wants to dig deep into Photoshop so at least I know what I'm capable of so I can apply it in the appropriate situations but then a large part of me wants to just keep it simple. Right now I do most of my corrections during the RAW conversion process and then do some minor dodging, burning and cleanup in PS to finish the photo. For the photos on this page I started by lowering the contrast, desaturating a bit and lowering the white balance to give it a bit of a cool tone. After that I added a photo filter adjustment layer set to "soft light" and added 25% sepia. That was fine in itself but then I made another adjustment layer just the same but set to "hard light". That one looked fine by itself as well but when I stacked them on top of each other I found I liked it even better. So that's how I did it. Don't forget to check out Tracey's sets on www.NakedGirlsInOurBed.com.
Raynn In Pain!
<img src="http://www.myluckylife.com/mllblog/thumbnails/thumb_20080903224728_09-03-08a.jpg"><br/>
I'm a meany head. I make models walk on the rough concrete out back barefoot. That's our friend Raynn from up in Oakland. Her and her man came down to LA and we went up to LA for a nice little "Ha ha, we're sitting in the hot tub instead of being filthy and stinky at Burning Man" party. We got to bring Raynn back home with us for a few days though. Yay us:)So yeah, you heard that right. I didn't go to Burning Man this year. It's the first time since 1997 that I didn't go. I thought for sure I'd have some kind of desire to be there once it started and it sunk in that I really wasn't going. But I didn't:) I might have felt a slight bit of envy when looking at some photos posted by friends that went this year but I know that's only because I missed being with those people, not because I wanted anything to do with Burning Man. It was fun while it lasted.
